The visions shared here spring from the wandering  mind of Joe Tankersley;  storyteller, media producer, and writer.

For more than two decades, Joe has helped businesses, nonprofit groups, and governments produce stories that entertain, enlighten and empower. As a result of these quests he has learned that finding just the right story is a key step in building better tomorrows.

Since 1996, Joe has worked as a Show Writer and Producer for Walt Disney Imagineering.  Working with some of the most talented story telling minds around has given Joe the chance to refine both his practical story telling skills and further develop his theories about the uses of story to produce change.  Much of his recent work has focused on developing new forms of immersive interactive stories.

As much fun as he has creating smiles for millions of people, Joe is equally passionate about developing tools and techniques to help others build better tomorrows.  Whenever he gets the opportunity he shares these ideas through workshops and speaking engagements. Now he hopes that this website will become a vehicle for engaging others in this important dialogue.

Joe takes his futures seriously. He currently serves on the board of directors of the Association of Professional Futurists; was on the board of directors of the Global Future Forum for 3 years and has been a member of the World Future Society for over ten years.

Joe resides in sunny Winter Springs, Florida with his wife and teenage daughter; who is the source of much of his desire to make sure that the futures we create are better than the pasts we have inherited.
